Objective: To acquaint students with the basic principles and techniques of constructing editable surfaces in the field of computer-aided geometric design.

Course syllabus:
  1. Bezier rectangular and triangular patches and their polar forms.
  2. B-spline and Beta-spline surfaces, NURBS surfaces.
  3. Coons patches and other interpolating surfaces.
  4. Blossoming and its applications.
  5. Refinement schemes for surface construction.
